Channel 5 -- Columbia Gas and state leaders have set a deadline of Nov. 19 for the replacement of natural gas infrastructure and restoration of service. In the meantime, hundreds of the Massachusetts National Guard will assist Columbia Gas in providing nearly 7,000 self-contained hot plate units to customers who need them for cooking until natural gas service is restored. This will be followed by a similar distribution of space heaters next week. (1:57)
