Scott Tefft, the pit master behind the popular Worcester-area foodtruck Big T's Jerky House, will open a restaurant on the city's West Side.
Big T’s Mill Street BBQ will open at 242 Mill St., the former home of Legacy Bar and Grill, which closed at the end of last year.
The Mill Street location was also previously the home of Joey’s Bar and Grill, which moved to Chandler Street, and Birkbeck’s Waterfront Grill.
Robert Tefft, one of three managers of Mill Street Barbecue Company, appeared before the License Commission on Thursday. The company's application for liquor and entertainments licenses were approved.
